PIAC Annual Dinner Dance
The holiday season will soon be upon us. That means it is almost time for the PIAC Annual Dinner Dance where we herald in both the holiday season AND honor our 2024 St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal, Senator Mario Scavello!
Join us at picturesque Trout Lake on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6 PM to 11 PM. We'll have, music by Joe O'Malley, dancing, 50/50 and the basket raffle.
We will again this year have a top-shelf, open bar from 6 PM to 10 PM. (Cash bar from 10 PM to 11 PM).
Tickets are available for purchase online. Cost is $120 for members and $130 for non-members.

PIAC 2024 St. Patrick's Day Parade
Grand Marshal
This year the PIAC will be honoring PA State Senator (Retired) Mario Scavello as our 2024 Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal.
Senator Scavello began serving our area as Mayor of Mt. Pocono. He then was voted in as U.S. Representative from 2002 until 2015 at which time he took his seat in the Senate. Senator Scavello worked tirelessly for our area until his retirement at the end of his term in 2022.
Senator Scavello has served both Monroe and Northhampton Counties in many capacities throughout his 30 year career including: The United Way, Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club, American Red Cross, Northampton Community College Advisory Board, Economic Development Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Pocono Family Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), and Monroe County Area Agency on Aging.
Additionally, he has received awards including: Boy Scouts of America Good Scout Award and African American Network Men of Valor Award.
Senator Scavello has been a great friend to both the community and the Pocono Irish American Club and we are proud to honor him and his work in 2024. Please come out and help us celebrate him at this year's Annual Dinner Dance on Friday, December 1, 2023.
